Youth Pickleball Clinic. Learn the game or Level up. 


We place kids by skill level, not age. Drills, games, and court assignments are adjusted on the spot so every player is challenged — not bored, not overwhelmed.


Instructor: Led by a professional pickleball player, who competes on the pro tournament circuit and teaches players of all ages, with hands-on support from volunteer coaches at the West Geauga Pickleball Club.

Tournament information:

This tournament is a double elimination tournament that will be capped to 24 teams. All games will be played as standard pickleball scoring played to 11, must win by 2.

Once teams are registered and finalized the week of the tournament, the bracket positioning will be determined via random draw.

The tournament director has the right to change the tournament format based on the number of participating teams.

The official ball that will be used will be Selkirk Pro S1.

Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place finishing team.


Parking:

Please utilize the parking spots that are around the court first. If this is filled, you can also park on the street over on Grand Blvd.

There is an open grass field that is next to the courts that can be used, but we would like to use this as a last resort option.


Rain date:

If inclement weather is forecasted, the decision to proceed with the tournament will be made as soon as possible on the tournament day. The rain date for the tournament will be Saturday August 8th at 4 PM. (Teams are not obligated to play if the tournament day does get moved)

Please bring a lawn chair, things to drink to stay hydrated, and snacks if you desire.

Signup cutoff date is July 27th at 2pm.

This event is open to all players from 2.5-5.0 with events broken down by skill level first and then age division dependent on the total number of teams/players registered within each skill level of play. Formatting includes round-robin play with brackets to follow with the majority of players competing in 7-9 games during this event.


Registration Rates – Early Bird $65 for first event, $45 for second, $25 for third (email director for a discount code for a 3rd event)

Schedule – formatting will typically have Doubles (8am+) on Saturday, Mixed Doubles (8am+) on Sunday, Singles in the afternoon on either day

Format – there is a 6 game guarantee in place; single game round-robin matches played to 11, win by 2, for doubles followed by medal matches that are 1 game to 15, win by 2; singles matches will include rally scoring to 21, win by 2.


Divisions - to simplify registration, all registrations will be sorted by skill level during the registration process before being sorted by age when and where possible.

Welcome to the 2026 GAMMA Pickleball Classic!


The GAMMA Pickleball Classic in its 10th year of operations, one of the longest standing tournaments in the 20-state area. This year's tournament will take place September 19th & 20th at the Graham Park Pickleball Complex in Cranberry Township, North of Pittsburgh, in partnership with the Cranberry Township Pickleball Association (CTPA).


We are excited to continue with an outdoors tournament in beautiful Graham Park in Cranberry Township, PA – the home of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship Tournament. We have the availability of 19 courts for tournament play in which all 19 are dedicated pickleball courts. All have dividing fences to minimize ball interference. Thirteen of the courts have lights. All courts are located together in one complex with ample free parking. We will have a food truck on site for your convenience.


PLAY FORMAT: The tournament will be a round robin with the top 4 teams making it to a single elimination playoff. This format allows for a greater number of points for participants in a shorter time span allowing for a great player experience. The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust brackets and format as needed.

You may register for one event per day for a total of 2 events for the Pittsburgh GAMMA Classic. Medals will be awarded to top 3 finishers in each bracket played. If the bracket is combined, only one set of medals will be awarded to the top three (3) players/teams of the combined bracket.

Pickleball Brackets charges $5 for 1st event and $10 for 2 events.

Refs: There will be no ref fees being collected and therefore there is no formal paid refs at this event. There may be volunteers or those who are training.


YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE FULLY PAID, WAIVER SIGNED AND PARTNER REGISTERED AND PAID. IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY PAID WHEN THE EVENT FILLS, YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE WAIT LIST. 


Your partner has 4 days to register and pay from the time you pay, or your partner will be automatically moved to the wait list.


We expect a high volume of players for this tournament. We will have a maximum number of teams per event and per day. We highly recommend signing up for the waitlist if registration for your group is full. We will move teams off the waitlist into events as space becomes available.

Start times will be posted several days prior to the tournament start date.

We must have 8 teams to run the event.


The Moneyball format will be a small round robin format for seeding the top 4 teams followed by single elimination with games to 15 until medal rounds. DUPR will be used for seeding round robin format and round robin will be used to seed single elimination.


DUPR: This is a DUPR rated tournament, and ratings will be used for registration and sign-ups. See more on DUPR below.


All matches will be reported to DUPR to add to your overall rating. If you don’t have a DUPR rating, you will have one after this tournament. Please visit mydupr.com to make a free account. You must create an account to play in this tournament. If you don’t have a DUPR rating, you will need to self-rate. The tournament director will be reviewing and may move players to a more appropriate level if necessary.


PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY

After registration is closed, any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. The replacement partner must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements need to communicate to the registration desk 2 days before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.


CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP

Cranberry Township is one of the fastest growing communities in Western PA. A progressive and well managed community that puts value into quality of life with its three large parks and municipal golf course. Altogether, Cranberry has over 700 acres in their park system. Cranberry Township Pickleball Association (CTPA) is run by volunteers in partnership with the Cranberry Township Parks & Rec department. Now in its 9th year of operation, CTPA has 1900 members. CTPA is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the pickleball complex and will have 19 courts. We hope you enjoy your visit with us.

  • Madison, Ohio YMCA has added an outdoor pad for multi-sport use including pickleball.  

  • Lee Lydic Park in Perry Ohio won a grant for the addition of 2 new pickleball courts in Summer 2026
